Mai Tai

The classic Mai Tai is a beautifully straightforward yet intriguingly complex tiki cocktail. You know what Mai Tai means in Tahitian? "out of this world," it truly lives up to its name. This exotic drink blends fresh, zesty ingredients with the depth of Añejo rum, delivering a rich and satisfying flavour that transports you to the tropics with every sip.

Ingredients

 

  • 50ml Añejo rum

  • 15ml Orange liqueur (try orange curacao)

  • 15ml Orgeat

  • 15ml lime juice

  • 7.5ml simple syrup

  • Small dash orange bitters

Garnish

  • Pineapple wedge

  • Mint sprig

Method

1) Combine and shake all ingredients with ice apart from bitters

2) Strain into Rocks or Tiki glass then add crushed ice

3) Top with orange bitters and garnish with pineapple and mint
