mint Julep

This classic bourbon cocktail is subtly sweet, served over ice, and garnished with fresh mint. Originating in the southern states during the 1700s, it’s been closely linked to the Kentucky Derby since the 1930s. The drink combines bourbon, mint, and sugar syrup to create a timeless favourite that evokes cozy, wintery vibes with every sip.

Ingredients

 

  • 75ml Johnnie Walker Black Label

  • 15ml Simple Syrup

  • 1 dash Angostura bitters

Garnish

  • Fresh mint sprig

  • Lime Slice

Method

1) Fill Mule Mug or Rocks Glass with ice and shake all ingredients in a Boston Shaker

2) Strain into mug and pack with crushed ice

3) Garnish with mint spring and Lime
