French Martini
A perfectly balanced cocktail. The French Martini takes its name from Chambord, a luxurious French raspberry liqueur that defines its rich, fruity character. Unlike a traditional martini, this cocktail was born in the 1980s when New York bartender Keith McNally introduced a fresh, modern twist—swapping gin for vodka and blending it with Chambord and pineapple juice for a smooth, flavourful experience. This cocktail’s vibrant mix of sweet and tart notes, combined with its silky texture, makes it a standout. While pineapple juice adds depth and balance, the drink’s "French" identity comes purely from the Chambord. With its eye-catching pink hue and sophisticated yet approachable taste, the French Martini remains a beloved favourite, effortlessly bringing a touch of elegance to any occasion.
