Singapore Sling

The Singapore Sling, as it's commonly known today, is often a sweet, fruit-forward punch featuring pineapple juice and gin—a stark contrast to the clean, well-balanced cocktail it was originally meant to be. This classic drink was first crafted in the early 20th century by Ngiam Tong Boon, a bartender at the iconic Raffles Hotel in Singapore. Designed as a refreshing and subtly complex cocktail, it quickly became a favourite among both travellers and locals. Over the years, its recipe has evolved, but its reputation as a timeless staple in cocktail culture remains strong, making it a must-try for any cocktail enthusiast.
