Gin Fizz

Like all Fizz cocktails, the Gin Fizz shares a close connection with Sour and Collins cocktails. However, subtle differences in mixology can make all the difference. My recipe stays true to the classic fizzy sour, blending gin, lemon, and sugar with soda water. To enhance its signature texture, I incorporate egg white, creating a smooth, frothy consistency and a beautifully foamy head.

Ingredients

  • 50ml Gin

  • 12.5ml Lemon Juice

  • 12.5ml Simple Syrup

  • 1 Egg White

  • Top Cold Soda

Garnish

  • Lemon Peel

Method

1) Dry shake your egg white for the foam effect

2) Add the rest of the ingredients with ice to the shaker and shake well

3) Fine strain into a rocks glass and top with cold soda

4) Garnish with Lemon Twist
