White Russian
In the 1990s, the White Russian was considered somewhat outdated and even a little tacky, far from being a trendy cocktail. That all changed in 1998 with the release of The Big Lebowski. The film single-handedly revived the drink—referred to as a "Caucasian" by The Dude—thrusting it back into the spotlight and giving it a newfound cult status. When it comes to making a White Russian, there’s no strict recipe or single way to prepare it. As demonstrated here, using equal parts is a simple and balanced approach to this creamy, indulgent classic.
