Pina Colada

I don’t tend to blend very much cocktails but The Piña Colada is a must I feel. It’s a quintessential beach bar cocktail, bursting with the tropical flavours of coconut, pineapple, and a extra helping of rum for added depth. Ingredients

 

  • 75ml Havana Club 3

  • 50ml Cream of coconut (not coconut cream)

  • 50ml Pineapple juice

  • 15ml lime juice

  • 4 or 5 pineapple chunks

  • Half scoop of ice (about 250ml)

Garnish

  • Pineapple Wedge

  • Cherry (optional)

Method

1) First blend the pineapple chucks and ice together

2) Add the rum, pineapple juice, lime juice & cream of coconut and blend until well mixed and creamy

3) Strain into a hurricane glass

4)Garnish with pineapple wedge
