Gimlet

You might not realise it yet, but gimlets are incredibly simple to make. Once you’ve mastered a gimlet, you’ll have the foundation for many other great cocktails—like a daiquiri, which is essentially a rum-based version. While the classic gimlet is made with gin, you can easily swap it for vodka if that’s your preference—it’ll be delicious either way. Just remember, fresh lime juice is essential. Skip the bottled stuff!
